CL839: Trial Advocacy – Theories, Tactics, and Techniques
This course introduces you to the fundamentals of courtroom advocacy. Interactive modules allow you to study the foundation of effective advocacy and to learn by doing. You are exposed to trial tactics and techniques including opening statements, direct and cross-examinations, the introduction of evidence, and closing arguments. You are assessed and receive feedback on your own performances via online video presentations. You must have access or arrange access to a webcam or other recording device that allows you to record videos and upload them, and be able to participate in live online videoconferencing.
