Introduces the art of ancient, colonial, and modern Latin America, tracing artistic legacies over 4000 years. Begins with an overview of the ancient art of Mesoamerica and the Andes, followed by a consideration of the art of the colonial era. Then addresses the art of modern and contemporary Latin America, including Brazil and the Caribbean.
