University of Maryland GEOL 435 Environmental Geochemistry Entire Class

An understanding of geochemical cycles of Earth’s surface systems including soils, rivers, lakes, and estuaries, and causes and implications of alteration of geochemical cycles. Topics include chemical weathering, soils, the chemical composition of inland waters, hydrologic tracers, salinization, eutrophication, nutrient and metal pollution, and global geochemical cycles.
